The resulting boat is incredibly light weight, strong, and durable. plans packages for stitch-n-glue designs include instructions, material layouts, and material listings. in addition, the full size patterns provided with all stitch-n-glue designs are precise since they’re taken from the actual panels used to build our prototype boats.. The plans predate cad panel development software so the shapes are extremely simple in some cases. the one sheet boat. the one sheet boat, or osb, is an outgrowth of the stitch and glue technique. the osb is a boat that can be built using a single sheet of 4 foot by 8 foot plywood (1.22 m × 2.44 m).. The 15.5 is built stitch and glue. the smaller boat 13ft was not sufficiently stable with adults. as a result we discontinued the smaller plywood canoe plans. we developed the longer eureka 155 (our stock classic canoe plan) from the of the smaller boat. so stability is improved without creating a too blunt shape..

The stitch and glue boatbuilding method is an easy way for a beginner to make a plywood boat. in a nutshell stitch and glue boatbuilding has 4 major steps. plywood parts of the boat are measured and cut according to plans. small holes are made around the edges of the pieces.. I am planing on building a plywood stitch and glue boat. i have an old 8.5 hp motor, for power, and want to have "row" be an option. there are a few plans i have, and the one i am thinking of is a 7'6" dingy/tender.. Free stitch and glue boat plans for building plywood boats, free stitch and glue boat plans in no particular order. email me if a link is broken. i try to update everything often but the internet is a fast paced place...
